Personal Profile

Qi Jia was born in 1983. Now, she is an associate professor and master tutor of the School of International Information and Software, Dalian University of Technology. She received the bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctor’s degree in engineering from the Computer Science Department of Dalian University of Technology in 2005, 2008 and 2014 respectively. From January 2008 to December 2009, she was a teaching assistant at Software School of Dalian University of Technology. From January 2010 to December 2017, she was a lecturer. During this period, she was a visiting scholar in Temple University from September 2017 to September 2018. From January 2018, she is an associate professor in the School of International Information and Software. Her research area is machine vision and image processing. She presided two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one project of Natural Science Foundation of Liaoning Province. She has published more than 30 papers in the Nature journals, including top journals and conferences: IEEE TIP, ECCV, Pattern Recognitions, etc. As the PI, 7 national invention patents have been authorized.
