Short Biography

Risheng Liu is an associated professor, doctoral tutor and a head of Digital Media Department at the School of International Information and Software, Dalian University of Technology(DUT). He received his B.Sc.(2007) and Ph.D.(2012) from Dalian University of Technology, China. Then he was researching in Carnegie Mellon University as a cooperation researcher between September 2010 and January 2012. He was awarded the “Top Young Talents” in Liaoning province, and the “Outstanding Youth Science Foundation” of the National Natrual Science Foundation of China in 2019. He serves as the international conference program committee of NIPS, CVPR, IJCAI, AAAI, ACM MM and etc. He also serves as the journal editor for Electronic Image, The Visual Computer, IET Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence(TPAMI), International Journal of Computer Vision(IJCV) and etc.
